IGC Files

Use your own IGC File

You can either use your own IGC files or download them from platforms such as WeGlide.

IGC File from WeGlide

I use the IGC file to display the position of the flight object. The process for the user is straightforward. The user searches for and selects a flight on the WeGlide platform (website). Then, they download the desired file and move it to their IGC folder, for example. “Glider Viewer” automatically recognizes all files in this folder and makes them available for selection. The user only needs to select and start the file in “Glider Viewer,” and the flight will be displayed immediately.

Caution: Display Limitations

For flights where the distance from the airfield is greater than 100 kilometers, “Glider Viewer” may experience an unpleasant and unusable display issue. The image may flicker!
